Jud Shafter's first appearance in the strip was 2000-10-02 when he sits on a toilet that is actually a disguised Sergeant Schlock.
Other notable appearances
In Strip 2009-05-05 he is on Kelrik Station signing books and telling stories about defeating a shape shifter when Sgt. Schlock shows up.
