Bio[edit]
Howard Tayler created //[http:SchlockMercenary.com Schlock Mercenary] in 2000, and new installments have appeared online every day since then. This epic comic space opera has been nominated four times for Hugo awards, and has won “Best Thing Howard’s Done For a Living” each month since September of 2004. In his spare time Howard paints 28mm miniatures, plays table-top role-playing games, and shifts plates of metal around at the gym with sisyphean zeal. He lives in Orem, Utah with his wife Sandra and their four children.[1]
Howard is also featured on the Parsec award-winning “Writing Excuses” podcast, a weekly 'cast for genre-fiction writers. Howard’s illustrative artwork is featured in XDM X-Treme Dungeon Mastery, a role-playing supplement by Tracy and Curtis Hickman[2]
